Need help, found a bug, or have a suggestion? Email support@weightpilot.com. It helps if you include your phone model and the app version from Settings.
Getting started
- Weigh in every day at the same point in your routine. First thing in the morning is ideal: after the bathroom and before you eat or drink, with no clothes or the same clothes each time. Consistency matters more than the exact time.
- Set a target weight or body fat percentage on the Target tab. You don't need to plan a schedule; WeightPilot sets a safe, steady pace for you.
- Follow the throttle on the Today tab. At zero, eat as you normally would. Above zero, eat a bit more; below zero, eat a bit less. Respond the same way every time, and the app learns how your body reacts.
Common questions
Why does my weight jump around from day to day?
Most daily changes are carb stores (glycogen and the water it holds) and fluid, not fat. WeightPilot separates these out and shows your stable weight, which is a better measure of real progress.
Can I connect a smart scale?
Yes. Connect a Withings scale from Settings โ Scale, and your weigh-ins sync automatically. You can also bring in weigh-ins and active calories from Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android.
Do I need an account?
No. WeightPilot works on your device without signing in. Create an account (with an email code or a passkey) to keep your data if you change phones or reinstall.
Deleting your account and data
In the app, open Settings โ Account โ Delete Account. This permanently erases your account and all of its data, and it disconnects your Withings scale. If you use WeightPilot without an account, or you can't open the app, email privacy@weightpilot.com and we'll delete your data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
WeightPilot is a general wellness tool, not medical advice. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating, talk to your doctor before you change your diet.
